If you can convince yourself your white skin or politics have been some kind of pained negative in life, it's easy to offload not having achieved much and not bothering to in future. A useful obligation opt out. That way society can prop you up and you can remain ungrateful for it and maintain a myriad of contrived demographic dislikes. Not aimed at anyone paying their way, just a typical benefits type outlook you see. And of course the word white can be exchange for black where true victim mentality exists on that front. There are certainly hurdles in life, and where they are unjust that should be corrected, but ultimately you're in the situation you're in and 'the world is against me' only gets you so far and is a dangerous mindset to adopt. No corporation truly cares about any demographic, they just do what they think makes business sense in the moment. There's certainly some truth to this. No corporation truly cares about any demographic, they just do what they think makes business sense in the moment. You see that with the World Cup, stated principles make way for grotesque realities (human rights, hundrreds of deaths building stadiums, slave labour essentially, women treated as second class citizens) that have a blind eye turned to them because there's massive $$$ to be made.
