I usually take any BBC announcement to be the official recognition of the transfer.

I think he has now signed
Which keeper to let go ?
For me it would be Guiata as he has said he want's to go back to Spain at the end of next season .
It would also mean we don't have to look around for a new keeper next year .

Ideally, yes. Also Butland is several years younger than the Spaniard. Finally, Johnstone, I believe, is more comfortable with having the ball at his feet and as a recent England keeper (3 caps last year) will undoubtedly expect to be our number 1 keeper. Not sure how Vicente would react to that.

However, the so-called pundits think it will be Butland on the move.

Time will tell.

i think he is/was on holiday, hence the delay. A few pictures of him and Grealish etc at an Aston Villa player's wedding last week.
