I'd be more inclined to suggest that the system is geared towards exploiting this mindset Stirling!

I am beginning to think the era of the adult is becoming extinct as is the age of grips on reality, self-responsibility or shame.

I am still relatively young but minded of my parents, who having a reasonable income, still insisted I 'get a job' whilst still legally required to attend school 5 days a week, if I wanted to go out on the weekend. I did.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

You rarely hear a word like 'duty' and the word 'shame' has undergone a weird kind of inversion. What makes people successful hasn't changed, but our institutions seem ideologically about promoting any lifestyle and attitude other than traditionally successful ones.
