That's great. My thoughts exactly. Let's hope they make the correct decision about this and not look at this as a revenue stream. Because it will have the opposite effect.

Those who attend in place of regulars will visit the fan zone and club shop spending dosh.

I think the other area I am having trouble with ( unless I have misunderstood which is more than possible)

On the original season ticket + description I thought it said, pay £50 extra for the palace TV + free gift + the option to share your digital season ticket - (which I did)

I don't remember back then being anything in the description about you can only share it with another season ticket holder or a palace membership holder or a previously declared family & friends type arrangement or through the palace system (after they have sold all of their tickets) with a fee for the privilege -

Unfortunately I dont have that original text to refer back to so if I am wrong then apologies all round.

I have season ticket+ but no QR code, so presumably I could not share it with anyone, despite paying extra?
Will I get in on Friday with no QR Cide?

So just reading the story on the club website...

It doesn't say that season ticket plus is the ONLY way to share a ticket....Its just saying if you have ST+ you can transfer a match ticket to a registered friend. Which in theory would be an easier way to (for example) share a couple of season tickets between a group.

Apple wallet is showing a QR code for the Arsenal match, so don't see why we wouldn't be able to screenshot and share as we did last year.

Spare a thought for those poor saps who have paid for their STs but not received anything yet. When pressed, the CPFC Box Office and Customer Services have absolutely nothing to say so good luck on getting answers to anything else.

Long thread on bbs about this. The QR Codes are disappearing from tickets ( I do not have one). It seems tickets are mysteriously going into expired passes and when refreshed the QR Code has gone

same here i had to re-download my season ticket.

I thought the season ticket + was good value for money in my opinion

The box office told me yesterday the reason they stopped e-tickets etc was to ensure they knew who was entering the stadium for security and health and safety. This is clearly untrue.

Found this from a user on FB, hope it helps . . . If your ST is in expired passes. This seems to have happened to Android users.
Many thanks to Tim Mountain for this info.
*** You will need your email account and password.
Go to the Palace app on your phone.
Click your initials top right of the home page.
Click my account.
Scroll down and click manage my account under quick links tickets and memberships.
Scroll to the top and click your name (top right) a drop down menu will appear.
Click season tickets .
Click the square box next on the left of your ticket and the add to mobile wallet icon will appear and will no longer be greyed out.
Click the add to mobile wallet icon. You will have to log in with the email account you used. In my case google mail, which I never use.
The wallet symbol will display at the top.
Your ST will no longer be in expired passes.
Foot note. This may have happened because the old ST was in expired and got updated. I will be removing this seasons in May 23.
