He might be referring to his time at Man Utd. Has anyone hear really studied his game there, and what has gone wrong? Is is just because of the style there, or has he lost his mojo early on?

Nah

It’s a big whoosh

They thought they could turn him into the next Trent, defensively sound especially in his first 2 seasons, won more tackles than anyone in the league.

He hasn't made the progress going forward, struggles once he crosses the half way line, when I've watched him play he also struggles with his positioning, getting caught out with the runner behind him time and again.

Man. Utd will be lucky to get £20 million for him, and he needs to play for a defensive based team, where the emphasis is not him to attack going forward.

Perhaps Brighton will be interested if they finally lose Cucurella as looks increasingly likely with Chelsea upping their bid apparently.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Richards, Ward, Clyne, Ferguson, we are not in the market for £90,000 p.w full backs, when we have cover.

I am not aware of any interest in bringing Wan-Bissaka to the club.

Does the club generally involve you in its planning?

I have no idea whether we are interested or not but I'm not sure this gives the full picture. Ward has been brilliant but I'm sure the majority of us don't want to see him at RB anymore given he could probably be outpaced by our walking football team. Ward is probably better as cover centrally now and that seems to be where PV sees him too. Ferguson is a risk, we have no idea if he'll get back to his levels pre-injuries and if he does, whether he can stay fit for more than 5 minutes. Richards is also a risk as we don't know how he'll cope with the premier league. Finally, If we had AWB, I would probably pick him to start over any of those and I think that may just be the key here, if the rumours are true

You've left/missed out Clyne in your assessment, any reason?

A lot of sense there.

Richards - I am under the impression (very much open to scrutiny) that Richards is able to play any defensive position and therefore may not be a 'Starting XI' intention, just yet anyways.

Clyne - I thought he was very good last season, highly subjective but I'm happy with him there. He is surely in the latter stages of his career however and therefore a decline may well ensue.

Ward - Love Joel, but he must only be ever used as a RB in dire straights for me. Again, think he is cover if necessary across back. Will surely retire or start moving down the football hierarchy soon.

Ferguson - I just cannot se him playing let alone to any great standard. Never know though.

AWB - If the deal is right, cheap, easy and all parties happy then it may well work out. I certainly wouldn't complain. Would be reluctant for us to splash anything on him however certainly before the midfield in any instance.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

No real reason other than Clyne was good last season and didn't really have a downside in my eyes other than being included in the AWB would start above him to me but obviously that's just my opinion. I think switching between AWB and Clyne depending on whether we're set up more attacking or defensive is almost perfect
