New season ticket holder

Hi all I'm a first time season ticket holder after many years of random attendance. Anyway, I associated my season ticket with my Apple Wallet on my iphone as instructed.... But I have a question regarding entry... when I look at the season ticket on my phone, it has no visible barcode. It’s just a red picture with my membership number and seat/stand etc, though it does flash up “Hold near reader” when I select it. So my question is does it open itself at the reader to reveal the QR code and allow entry or am I supposed to do something else prior to the game? I just don’t fancy getting to the front of the queue and then chaos ensuing as I block the turnstile…. Many thanks and KTF.

If you’re worried tap on the three little black horizontal circles in a black circle in the bottom right and that brings up the qr code. Edited by dreamwaverider (04 Aug 2022 5.33pm)

Brilliant - I hadn't seen the three dots and you're right the QR code's underneath. I guess the reader will flip the red screen and reveal the QR code for me. Thanks for your advice.

Can I take a picture of the QR code and send it to another person to gain entry?

Not sure how long your QR code will last but holding your phone close to the reader using NFT contactless should get you in.. the code reader should still be working as some people will have emailed tickets. If you have a plus season ticket you can get an emailed ticket or £10 for a normal season ticket holder

QR codes are not being used this season on phones. They are disappearing. It uses NFC (a connection system) to allow entry. Mine never worked all of last season I had to scan the QR code, which has now gone! Which stand are you in and if the Holmesdale upper or lower? Its always manic first game.
