Sometimes I get a gut feeling that a surprise is on the cards.

Can't get that feeling at all for this one.

I shall have a tenner on a Palace win for the hell of it.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

If that one comes in EH you may well be able to finance an entire new stadium for us.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I'm going to say a 2-1 win. If Andersen can pass like he did against Arsenal against a Liverpool high line, I think we could nick a goal or two

Can't see anything but another defeat.

Likely to get over run in midfield and toothless upfront. I fear it may be 4-0 and upwards to the bindippers.

I would have felt marginally less pessimistic if they hadn't been held to a draw by Fulham. 0-3.

16-1 on bet 365. What a piss take. Put that on the board in the dressing room to show what the pundits think of us.

I know close to nothing about betting, but I thought that a bookie's odds, once betting is under way, had nothing to do with their opinions but everything to do with what the punters are doing - the same as marker-makers in the stock market, whose share price quotes have nothing to do with their assessment of the companies (half of the time they don't even know what the companies do!), but solely reflect the volume of buying and selling that they're experiencing.

You are not wrong and 16-1 in a two horse race are good odds but then we have lost the las t10 against them.

We are still players short of a squad for this game and therefore it has come at the wrong time for us and I can only see us heading for a second defeat on the bounce, hopefully I'm wrong!

Just watched a clip from the BBC on the 2013-14 season with Brendan Rodgers talking about the defeat against Chelski costing them the title ? No mention about us turning a 0-3 score line over the next game, which was the nail in the coffin. Didn't see Suarez crying after the Chelski game. Also noticed Sutton has gone for 4-0 on Monday night. Even Lawro probably would of given a lower scoreline.

My prediction is that we’ll concede one or possibly two from a set piece.
Liverpool’s delivery from set pieces and movement in the penalty area are in general very good .
We tend to be static and don’t compete well in the air when under pressure.
In other facets of the game I hope we’ll give them a game and pose a few problems for them defensively.
