I think this signing would make sense. We cannot afford a top draw striker so I think the strategy is not to go for that type of player.

Apparently he can play all across the front so if you are shopping in the bargain basement I would prefer a player who may not score 20 goals a season but works hard and can play in multiple positions.

If you look at most of our recent signing this seems to fit the bill for most of them.

Indeed he can play as a central striker or on both flanks, however we have Mateta who plays centrally, Zaha who has played wide or through the middle and Edouard can play in the centre or in a wide position.

When one analyses Semenyo's game there are a great deal of positives to be found, however our priority is a central midfielder and perhaps one will arrive on 'Loan'.

Whoever, but we need a CF asap.
We can't go into every game with 5 at the back.
Someone who can get on the end of passes from Eze, and Olsie.
We've got to be more dominant and not allow teams to dominate us.
I feel we show too much respect for big teams until we go a goal down. Brentford and Nots Forest are examples of aggression, particularly when playing at home. Close good teams down as Brentford did against MU. Don't give them time on the ball.
Let's start with AV on Sat.
Well done last night, tactics right and nearly won the game.

Everyone is looking for a CF, but one that scores regularly, isn’t easy.

We don’t play 5 at the back every game, it’s the first time Vieira has played that way.

Zaha is very capable at getting on the end of passes, as displayed last night.

I fully agree, we need someone who can get in amongst the opposition defence who has good anticipation and goals scoring ability with both feet and head. We currently lack penetration in the final third and we are not getting enough shots in on goal!

Semenyo is right-Footed and could take Wilf role and Wilf can play Cf, i also believe that the standard of the complete Championship is the Second best league in Europe.

I wish we were spending this on a Kouyate replacement.

That's if there is one.

Cheick Doucouré is the (younger) direct replacement for Kouyate. Straight from the mouth of Dougie Freedman.

Watching clips of him it's been a long time since I've seen someone so happy to score or assist. Reminds me a bit of Bolasie in that regard. Looks quick, strong and with a powerful shot. With Tekkers off the wage bill we could do worse and his puppy dog enthusiasm appeals to me.

I would like to see us get this one over the line today, i think he is a big talent out wide, and out of contract at the end of the season, can't be that expensive.

His stats for last season were better than Olises last season with Reading, 8 goals, 12 assists, and right footed, could be Olises double, style wise.
