It's done. I hate it but this must surely be the silliest waste of time ever. Half the world marched through London to protest the Iraq invasion and...

Nobody is blaming Brexit exclusively,I don’t think that’s possible as you cannot separate all the various factors, but everything that I’ve read suggests that the UK is performing worse than similar countries. That has to be the result of Brexit as we are the only country to be going through it.

Our EU trade is disrupted and more bureaucratic. Nothing new has compensated. EU workers have left us.

Nothing I have read suggests the smallest real benefit, only the ability to control our decline ourselves. What’s that worth in a cost of living crisis?

That's the African argument. It may be a screw up but it's our screw up. Doesn't help the poor bugger being tortured to death because he was born on the wrong side of the river or stop the tinpot general making off with the nations coffers.

Obviously not comparing apples here, but ask a brexiteer to name one positive from leaving and you either get a conspiratorial anti elitist diatribe or the same sad tired old clichés churned out by the express to appease their base. That is, nothing that actually impacts on our lives.

Still won't attend the rally though.

Project fear was the pathetic epithet of the Euro sceptics for the totally reasonable concerns of those who saw the folly of leaving. Not all were forecasted 100%, what forecast ever is, some are worse, some not so bad, but overall the warnings were well made.

What like house price crash - house prices reached record highs. Like stock market crash - stock market reached record highs. Like mass unemployment - continued very low unemployment rates.

Watching a bit now...Robinson just nicked the spinner.

The others just turned the cricket off to watch a repeat of some sh1t on Netflix. Oh well. 200 odd lead can't be bad.

Leave also spent a considerable chunk and their campaign, run as it was by Cummings, was particularly effective. Credit where it's due, but choosing our future via marketing campaigns just isn't sensible. Add to that the unanswered questions over where some of the Leave money came from, and the bad taste is still there. It is always easier to sell change rather than the status quo. It was in 2016 and will be again when the time comes to re-enter.

The economic problems the west are now suffering are not caused by Brexit. Ours are just worse because of Brexit. So the tide is turning. The whispers are faint, but they exist.

Crap.

They are worse because of endless short termism and mismanagement.

Whilst I share a lot of sympathy with many of your views, on this particular one, I fear you are overegging the pudding a little.

Campaigning for us to rejoin the EU is a perfectly legitimate political aspiration. Holding marches is part of our how democratic process works.

I detested, and cut plenty of people out of my life because of it, the insidious campaign to have my vote from June 2016 rendered null and void, and still seethe with anger about the disgusting attempts to stop us leaving the EU but its done and dusted now.

I never had a single problem with anybody wanting, and campaigning, for us to remain in the EU prior to June 2016. And now, post our departure, have zero problems with people wanting us to rejoin.

This is how it is meant to work.

I think this is correct and re joining would require some heavy benefits for the uk population. This though isn’t in the EU dna atm and until it is we is out

I want one too but only one issued directly from the Privy purse. None of those EU foreign type groats.

It won't be a Bourbon though, due to the connotation of French royalty. Rich Tea perhaps are safe.
