The beauty of democracy is that it is your place, along with everyone else, to design the solutions. Moaning about anything, without having a better answer and then campaigning to convince others, is just a waste of everyone's time.

It’s rather difficult to respond to such a general assertion. To answer in a similar fashion. There are, without doubt, more loons on the left than on the right. When we look back at historical policy, it probably doesn't reflect well on either side of the house.
Could not agree more on loons on the left (sorry about that!). But they haven't been in power for some time.

You either believe in democracy or you don’t. The EU model cannot be similar to those of it’s members. Unless it federalises and even then it wouldn’t be the same. It is though democratic.
