PV certainly screwed up tonight changing a winning attackin formation to a defensive one. Can’t understand why Ward who was playing really well at left back then went on the right with Clyne in front of him? Then we had Luka who either fouled or couldn’t pass the ball. I thought Schlupp was also having a good game. Taking both Eze and Olise off and bringing on defensive players just played into Brentford’s hands and they nearly won it because of PV being too clever for his own good. Ayew on the right may have been okay without the other changes and even Luka for Schlupp without changing the formation. Having gone 1:0 up we would gone on and won if we hadn’t of brought on those defensive changes. Grrrr!

Veira needs to ask himself would Brentford or teams like Fulham have made such negative changes when they were winning with 10 mins left. Errrr. No.
You can not incentivise opposition more than doing what Veira did tonight and we were lucky not to lose. I like Veira but it was poor game management tonight.

Yaaaawn. I know it's popular to hate on Luka. But he's not why we lost tonight. We changed too defensively instead of giving them more to think about from an attacking sense. This one's on PV.

Giving up three leads after just five games - costing us seven points - just isn't acceptable. Period

Did the same against Arsenal away last season went from a winning position and invitees them to attack…. Should have stayed with the same formation, at 1-0 it was up to Brentford to commit players forward which would have giving us more time to break on them with pace. If we must go with 3 at the back don’t go 5-4-1 at least go 3-5-2 so we can have a chance of retaining the ball up front.
On another note we desperately need a striker …..

I can never understand the way some managers use subs. If you are in the ascendecy as we were and the players show no sign of flagging then why change it? All it does is cause unneccesary problems. If a team is behind or a player is looking knackered then of course make changes. Fully understand Franks changes as he needed a goal but they would have been wide open for us to get a 2nd goal and seal the win. Sorry PV you've been great but were a complete plonker tonight
