Dempsey and Makepeace

One of them was utterly stunning, but I was never sure which was which

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Rich man poor man and Roots were the two blockbusters that changed television to me- might just be the mini series format but both seemed to be around the same time!Dallas was a great show , and who can forget little house on the prairie? Thursday after school, nobody hung about- it was on at 4.20- miss it at your peril! That Nelly was fcukable but what a bitch!

Anyone remember’The Tomorrow People’ ? I watched a couple on YouTube not so long, a bit clunky now as most 1970’s tv seems, but I loved it back in the day and was quite haunting and eerie for children’s TV

The phrase "homo superior" in Bowie's Pretty Things came from this programme!

The Phil Silvers Show (usually referred to as Bilko) - you'd need to be well into your seventies to remember it.

Car 54 where are you, was great had a lot of the Bilko actors, Joe E Ross, great series, and Get Smart and of course Mr Benn

Odd behind Iron Curtain stuff like White Horses from Yugoslavia - we added the theme tune - but nothing odder than The Singing Ringing Tree from East Germany. Proper trippy stuff that. The goblin scared me sh1tless.

Car 54 Where Are You was mentioned in the Munsters film and both Fred Gwynne & Al Lewis where in it.
Yes, Get Smart was a great programme.

Apparently they were getting it on.

Can't remember if that was true or not.
