Poirot and Miss Marple come readily to mind, which I guess says a lot about my advancing years. There's always Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid (although Billy was his first name), Carlito's Way, Serpico, Alias Smith and Jones, Frasier and Lady Chatterley's Lover (new version out soon).
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
