So businesses have to spend money installing private cubicles just to appease transgender, even though, until now, their customer base may have been more than happy with the arrangement. Pandering to the minority

No.

To satisfy the needs of anyone who doesn't feel able to, or ought not, get changed in a public space.

I no longer do, because of a medical condition. I don't feel comfortable. Why should I be disadvantaged?

Their "customer base" is diverse. A "one size fits all" answer is clearly not good enough.

Who's going to pay for this? Tall people have to pay for extra leg room on aeroplanes and that demand isn't out of personal preference but physical necessity.

But, as I said in my post, if their customer base has been satisfied until now, why should they incur extra cost to satisfy a very small minority. As you have previously stated regarding changing rooms, don’t use it if your not happy with the arrangements.

That’s just being pedantic.

There always used to be individual cubicles. Installing a few would hardly be a big expense and would probably both increase usage and reassurance. Win-win!

Still expecting others to pay for personal preferences. If it's that important go somewhere else. Or get changed in the toilet.

Biden admin requires trans women to register for draft if they were born male.

'US citizens or immigrants who are born male and changed their gender to female are still required to register. Individuals who are born female and changed their gender to male are not required to register,' reads the guidance on requirements from the Selective Service System.

The Selective Service does not require those who were born female but identify as transgender to register for the draft, only those who were born male.

Clearly it hasn’t been satisfied or this discussion wouldn’t be happening.

Some users are reluctant to use the facilities because they are worried, however unreasonably, about encountering transgenders, whilst some transgenders may not use them for fear or either embarrassment, or upsetting others.

Then there are the shy or people like me.

Their customer base isn’t just a group who you approve of. It’s everyone, warts and all, and their needs ought to be accommodated.

That’s daft.

A local government facility is paid for via council taxes. Which come from us all. So we all have the right to be able to access them.

Do you expect wheelchair users to pay for ramps?.

Commercial businesses respond to opportunities, and the law.. If there’s money to be made they will. If legislation demands it they must.

Wheelchair ramps aren't used out of personal preference.

Legislation is already in place.

Maybe this will be too soon enough.

It’s in the same category. We’ll see.

How do you know it hasn’t be satisfied? A small business who has had a regular customer base for years, who have been satisfied with the arrangements, now have to spend money to satisfy a small minority?
Again you are saying it is unreasonable for people to be worried about encountering transgender, why? Obviously you are not going to take those people’s views/ worries into consideration so there is no point in continuing this conversation

So are you saying transgender are disabled? Good luck with that
