Being as biased as I am, I don’t have many bad players in my memory. However, one guy I never rated was Micky Hill.

Back to 1979 for my first match. These are the players who I prayed would be missing each week: G - Chris Day D - Chris Whyte M- Andy Dorman F - Trevor Aylott I am sure I have missed more, but also picked players that had a chance to prove themselves.
Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs. |
