They can have my best wishes for enjoying the games, keeping fit and enhancing their social circle- but not my money! However, if the powers to be introduce an over 50"s team- i"m there- and will be CF, if people wish to see me play and want to pay, all the better!

I believe women's football needs more funding, don't agree with feminist trying to make us men look bad for not supporting it and hinting they should be paid the same and some have even said more because they won a tournament. It's the women that should be supporting it, If the women tuned in and supported women's football like they do with love island and all the other reality crap they watch the money would be flooding in, really most women are not interested.

Exactly women have tremendous economic power e.g. shopping is 90% aimed at them. If they are as passionate about women's sport as fashion the players would be earning more than the men.

Same argument has been made in women's tennis the reality is that apart from a few headline female stars the public are not interested. At Wimbledon a men's game is packed followed by a women's game then place empties unless it is one of the Williams sisters or the top seed.

Why can’t the media report sports results in womens sport as that rather than have you shocked and have to work out from the notification that England WOMEN have beaten Brazil 7-1 or Scotland women have beaten Australia, India and pakistan or whatever at one day cricket all in one afternoon.

People have been conflating women watching football and women's football for years..... in fact I had a letter published about this very topic many moons ago (1980's?) in the old free newspaper that Palace used to send out.

There is a vast gap between women supporters of men's football and those who follow/attend the women's games and I don't think the twain will ever fully meet.

Maybe, as more and more young girls get into the game and parents accompany them it will continue to grow, but, personally, I can't see too many female fans 'swapping' allegiance just because they are women - and why should they when we can enjoy the 'real deal' at Palace!

watching an ariel camera shot of 22 players passing the ball about.... easy.

However, sometimes you get a close-up camera angle, a player gets injured, sits up on the turf, with her hands propping her up and looking down at a swollen ankle, one knee up and one knee down..........

well, Eagles, its not exactly the same as watching an injured Troy Deeney

It annoys me on the BBC football page that they have all the reports, etc. mixed and then they have a separate women's section. Where is the separate men's section?
