Same old story we look the better footballing side, asleep for start of game, Wilf done nothing, keep losing ball at important moments, final touch/pass etc not there. It’s all very familiar. They’ve offered nothing since but neither have we. An Edouard break where he bizarrely chose the wrong pass and an Andersen header closest we’ve come but nothing to set the pulse racing.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

We need to get a grip of the midfield. They are first to the ball, committed and playing like a team. We are just chasing our tails. I know we normally play better second half, but we have a big improvement to make to get back in this.

How's that going to happen when one player is so slow the game passes him by and the other two never tackle nor block nor cover?

Hopefully he’ll bring on Hughes and Sclupp and take off Milo and Edouard. That should sure things up a bit.

The beatings will stop when morale improves.

Our midfield 3 are so weak compared to there’s, it’s no wonder we’re being overrun. Eze’s a luxury player, Milo is finished and Ayew is a winger.. When people are calling for Schlupp and Reidewald, you know there’s issues. We got our man Doucoure but without suitable back ups or players alongside him we are weak in a critical area.

If you can’t control the midfield the game is an uphill battle.

Everton look like a team set up to prevent goals rather than score them so this will be a tough ask to turn it around. Be interesting to see whether Vieira has changed things at all. Our bench is really weak.

It was awful. Everton crap we were crap, formation wrong, again, but let's hope for a second half revival

To me Hughes would be a good replacement for Mili
