Ok not likely but stranger things have happened. Look at the table!
Top 4 a stretch too far and a shame the break is starting when we are in great form.

I for one am not getting carried away on a wave of emotion.
In terms of our wins, 4 out of 5 have been by the odd goal and include victories against struggling Southampton and Wolves and Leeds who were not in the best of form when we played them.

Injuries in central defence could prove exceedingly harmful given our backup options, indeed injuries to key players could be damaging.

Any thoughts on which team may lose to Palace by two clear goals. Back to back wins with at least that margin will be good.

1 loss and the forums are awash of relegation doom, and sack the manager

1 win and we're now top 6 contenders

If we played to the best of our ability in every minute in every game we'd win the league and champions league. Unfortunately that's impossible. We'll likely follow up the best performance of hte season with a disappointing loss at Forrest

Nottm For have not lost in their last 3 home games, 1 of which was a 1-0 victory over Liverpool. They did beat W.Ham 1-0 in their opening home game and 2 of their home defeats have been by the odd goal.

i believe top 8 is achievable and 1 thing that will go in our favour is the fact we are not sending many to the world cup, there will be some burn out after that competition and if the club invest wisely in January i think we could achieve top 8 with or without Wilf

Here we go; the annual over-optimistic conjecture after a couple of wins or good performances. I fondly remember:

"Is Europe a possibility?" (Answer: no, Outcome: no),

"Can we win our next seven matches?" (Answer: yes we can, because we are one of the two teams in each of those games, but we won't, Outcome: no we didn't; we were nowhere near it)

"Will Susanna Reid offer me her body many times during a wild night of passion?"

Well one out of three ain't bad!

Not thinking about the end table, just enjoying a typical Palace roller coast season. From the absolute dross (away to Leicester and Everton) to some truly great performances.

Our upcoming home games:

Fulham (9th)
Tottenham (4th)
Newcastle (3rd)
Brighton (6th)
Liverpool (8th)
City (2nd)

United (5th) to be arranged in there.

The performance level needs to go up again for serious top 10 chat. The Southampton/Wolves/Leeds performances don't translate to wins in those fixtures ^

We are a proper Jekyll and Hyde team.

One minute world beaters the next relegation fodder.

If we can get over the "once we are safe stop playing" mentality then we could push on for Europe.

Finishing with a good win V Forest would leave us in a great position to push on. We could be 8th/9th going into the break and only one win from a europa place.

We would need to win our first two back and then get something out of the next four on the back of the confidence that would give us. Spuds ain't the same team without Son. Chelsea are on the way out of the big boys position, Newcastle are on the up but we can beat anyone at SP and Man utd are hit and miss.

We finish with 9 winnable games out of 10!!!

Its game on if we want it enough.
