I haven't heard any pakistani excuses or accusations yet.

I noticed a lot of Indian fans supporting England at the game.

for a T20 game it was quite tense, the injury to Afridi turned it in our favour, with their bowling attack thought it would go right down to the wire, the ball that got hales was top notch.

Me neither. All the quotes I've heard from the pakistani contingent have been duly humble and congratulatory towards the winners.

Anyway, I read today that England became only the 2nd side to win the T20 WC twice, after the Windies, and the 1st to be ODI and T20 world champions at the same time.

Yes, it's quite an achievement. I didn't think Sky covered it well. They barely seemed to care. On the coverage, it was all a bit of an anti-climax. It was briefly on Sky Sport's News, then they talked about World Cup football selection - as if it matters.

I can only speak of Channel 4, where I watched it, and the coverage was fine.

I didn't know it was on Channel 4. Would have preferred their coverage.

Indeed it was. An ad break at seemingly every opportunity, but other than that it was fine. I've never watched Sky, but I assume that's heavy on the ad breaks too. Come to that, I've never watched a T20 match before; I'm clearly just a glory-hunter, but you knew that from my football allegiance

I think that Channel 4 took Sky's coverage as Ian Ward who is Sky's lead commentator said goodbye to Channel 4 listeners.

Sky has a huge advantage for me as they broadcast in 4K and the difference in picture quality is huge

I know it's a very flat pitch but this is quite an incredible batting display by England.

It really is. And we still have Stokes and Livingstone to join the party.
