I struggle to see how, from the video evidence, that can possibly be onside.

VAR is just b*** x.

Don’t worry, if we feel really really strongly that there has been an injustice, we can climb a gantry over the M25 or glue ourselves to the road until the goal is ruled invalid. Apparently that is an acceptable method to getting things changed these days.

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

The wheels are coming off wherever you look
But this VAR decision is too much. They need to explain it.
Too late to change it but VAR is ruining the game.
Nobody enjoys waiting minutes for some burk to make a useless decision that is no better than a linesman.
I preferred instant decision from the linesman.
The current way they only flag offside long after the event is a farce.
Who makes all these rules.
A woke for sure

PV is obviously a slow learner, you can play, Wilf, Eze and Olise, but neither Ayew or Schlupp, Edouard or Mateta and Luka or Hughes

Can I humbly suggest that PV knows about 1000 x more about football than any of us do.

Palace 'Kouyated' at Nottingham Forest.

A 'warrior' sniffed out our supply, held up and restricted us, now he is off to the WC, not one of our squad is going.

It's a good thing he didn't score, or the cat would certainly be among the pigeons.

As soon as that was replayed , for me he was well offside not even close. Including when the ball was kicked, the lines couldnt have reflected that important part , as what was a very clear offside suddenly became close. It seemed clear enough, but Palace didn’t appear to moan to much, and the general comment just seemed to brush it off. so maybe those of us that thought it obvious, were missing something.
The whole thing of accurately measuring when the ball was struck , makes relying on lines very dubious for me, as everyone tends to concentrate on the lines.

What about Ayew and Andersen?

What has that got to do with anything, do you not think that Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton, Bryan Robson, Roy Keane etc. didn't know a lot about football, but they were all awful managers, PV still has a lot to prove himself a good manager yet

Yep. As I posted on a different thread, we somehow managed to weaken our (already thin) squad over the summer while the majority of clubs around us strengthened theirs. CK given away to Forest being a pertinent example.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

All they need to do is look at the players feet the whole situation is an absolute joke.

It was very clearly offside.

Looks like they took it from the linesman foot . Guhie must have very big feet . Ive seen goals ruled out from arms shoulders and hands being in an offside position , There is no consistency.
