Not sure what you are saying. Is it that 'fake fans' will be the Qatari solution to otherwise empty stadiums?

I suspect migrant workers will be “paid” to attend

“Thank you very much Abdul, now here’s your family, alive and well as promised”.

- Qatar are not responsible for the loss of any limbs during captivity

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

The head of FIFA certainly doesn't have a leg to stand on after his comments yesterday.

My take on it was that Infantino was getting it the neck from all sides (including from within FIFA members & the Qatar delegation) & he wanted to try to fight back, defend the award decision & shut people up so that the football can begin & he / his organisation can get some respite from the constant media bombardment -

Every WC comes with its politics & headaches but in line with modern technology & media reporting capabilities & freedoms this one has to have been a major pain in the bum from the moment it was awarded, quite frankly I think everyone involved in the administration of it just wants the football to begin so that the sooner it will be over & everyone can move on -

In which case he failed. A bit like a fireman hosing down a blaze with petrol.

It doesn't matter FIFA, is a law unto itself and its senior staff are treated by countries like unofficial ambassadors.

The only hope we had was when it was rumoured that the FBI was going to start a RICO (treat them like the Mafia) case against them.

Anyway that never happen so it will go on ignoring the west as long as it has the support of the poorer nations through bungs.

The votes are not in Western Europe.

I've thought that it's been time to split off for quite a while now. It's not like any European country cares about Arab, Asian or African football except for the ability to steal players. Europe, N. America and South America could quite easily form a better association with a little less corruption, and less Mickey mouse sides and FAs.
