It’s all about the money, f*** those said principles.
This was a dot on the cards for this alleged villain who basically was the creator of the situation that put the poor girl in position for her death.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Okay her family maybe due compensation but he should have got a lethal injection.

Officers put their lives on the line every day in the US. I see that San Francisco has kindly decided not employ armed robots in violent situations as it is a step too far.

So the next time a school shooting occurs and the public complain why didn't the police go in? .....

Who'd be a copper.

What does this actually mean? What principles are you referring to?

Just so we're clear; armed plain-clothes officers broke into the apartment in the middle of the night with a falsified warrant, and you view the guy who was asleep inside as the creator of the situation?

The guy is a wrongun and within five years will put himself in the ground by breaking the law again. Then because he’s black it will be unlawful or some such crap. How much compo do parents of shot school kids get?
The principle being turn down the money and take it to court as this payout has stopped that happening. Would that be the principle you asked about?

Your comment about 'because he's black it will be unlawful' is a level of ignorance which stands out even on Hol.

I'm glad you mentioned school shootings because it's the perfect example of why 'follow the money' is not the one-size-fits-all mantra you seem to think it is - people are financially compensated when things happen, it doesn't mean they were after money all along or that their point is less valid.

Why would he take it to court? To what end?

More broadly, do you think anyone who settles out of court is admitting there was no wrongdoing against them?

Your last line ,no not at all. Every case needs taking in isolation and in this one it has had so much media time that it should have finished in court. Not in a suitcase full of greenbacks. Who knows why the scrote didn’t go to court though; just maybe the outcome for him could be a little different to this !
