I bet Ireland wishes it were as left wing as it is now longer ago.

All those hard working people fleeing terrible circumstances who just want to work hard for a living, do an honest days work and integrate seamlessly into society.

Probably not the best video to make your point. All I can hear is someone being racially abused with no indication as to why? Did something happen before this?

Romanian begging gangs all over the place. Was hassled all day when I went shopping in town recently. Didn't quite reach the levels of this lad but did tell one to f off. In all fairness, did the same when last in London. Begging all well and good but not gangs and not in your face. And why Romanian? They shouldn't be here - end of.

My guess is you didn't quite catch what was going on in the video Badger.

It is the calling out, if you will, of a foreign woman begging in the streets whilst a gang of not cheaply dressed men, as is pointed out in the video, seem to be hanging around her. Not unlike a pimp(s) watching a working girl in my eyes.

I'm not sure it really qualifies as racist, unless people not wanting foreigners coming to their country and into their society to indulge in such activity qualifies as racist? It would be different even if she were genuinely destitute in my eyes. I'd argue it does not qualify as racist but perhaps I missed something equally, to which you may be referring?

I hadn't picked up on the begging. Still the language was essentially go back home. If he's upset about beggars well I've come across plenty of Irish beggars in my time that's nothing new in Ireland about that.

It's very tempting to do it because it's so prevalent within society but I'd say just stop using the language and concepts of the left.

It's by using their framing of points that society is in the mess it's in and it's not going to change until different framing becomes the norm.

Foreigners invading local spaces will result in annoyed reactions by those who value them. Most will keep their heads down and that's why they will lose their spaces and why their wages will remain low and rent high.

Those who can afford it will move and the rest have to lump it.

Personally I wouldn't have used the language in the video but I fully understand the sentiment.

I think it was the combination of the begging and the 'minders'. In fact I (possibly incorrectly) assumed the primary comments were aimed around the men being well dressed and the woman having to sit on the floor in the (presumably) cold.

I'd strongly argue that beggars are nothing new in society. I do try often, but not always, to give something I can spare such as the £1/2 in loose change or a couple of fags or something, however when it plays out in such an organised and somewhat menacing manner I think people have a right to be angry/object and call it out.

The commentary on what anyone's thoughts are on peoples arriving by assumed 'asylum' or 'illegal' routes is of course subjective however the objection to such things as this, I would argue, is valid.

My motive for posting was that organised 'begging' seems to be rampant across Europe, or certainly northern Europe, and is more often than not, if not predominantly or even exclusively, imported. My 'beef' lies primarily with those who promote immigration, freedom of movement etc with a false narrative as though it is some sort pinnacle of human existence. The fact is that opening proverbial floodgates to societies which are far economically inferior will of course equally pave the way for what is criminal if not morally objectionable activity. Were we living in true democracies I'd strongly suggest the vast majority of people, with some ability to think, would say 'no thank you' however when it does happen, should be no shock to see some 'ordinary folk' espousing sentiments such as those expressed in the clip.

Agreed.

Which is why I said not the best video, no argument about the point being made but others would say the voice was aggressive.

Sure, he's p1ssed off, but the anger is better directed at the people who put those people there.

Immigrants are always going to do what's in their best interests using their own culture. He's forced to live and deal with it.

His problem is that his elites don't have his best interests at heart.

Good for him to do something about it, I was last in Ireland six years ago and Dublin was awash with aggressive beggars then.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

The tide is turning for Irish people. They're completely nationalistic anyway, and they're seeing their values undermined. Add in your children all leaving and not being able to afford a home and you get Sinn Fein: nailed on. Sinn Fein will pretend to be Socialist in policies to get all the woke vote. However, their exclusivism and nationalism will mean pro-national policies veiled as for the greater good. They're less likely to be the EU lackeys we have - although Ireland loves its free money. Who doesn't though?

Sinn Fein.....is the UK Labour Party with a black balaclava.

- Palestine, Islam, Secularism.
- BLM

- lgbtq
- open borders, refugees welcome here

- Feminism
- Climate Change bores

- pro EU, anti UK monarchist ( obviously )

They are multicultural for EVERY culture on earth except for white british men ( cos they hate Orangemen, and will never compromise nor negotiate nor meet them half-way ). Sinn Fein believe the Shankill Road is not British, it is as irish as a Gaeltacht region in County Kerry.
