I am so used to reading nonsense from you that I mostly ignore it as the irrelevance it surely is in the real world.

This though takes the biscuit.It wasn’t the “left” who reacted to either Brexit or Trump. It came from every political persuasion. What connected them was a belief in democracy. No-one argued the Brexit result was rigged. The arguments were about the interference in the information process prior, the fact that a referendum isn’t part of our system and that after 4 years confirmation seemed wise. All valid and well expressed arguments which only failed because of Corbyn.

Trump was opposed by many on the sensible right. Only the far right, the red necks and the chancers trying to harvest the votes of the ignorant and those who always get seduced by change don’t. He sold them jam and snake oil. They bought it. Now they don’t.

There is no reason why a rational debate about traditional left/right politics cannot still be our way forward. Most of us don’t populate the extremes of the left or right. They can be left to shout at each other whilst normal people sort things out the best way we can.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.
