We will almost inevitably be relegated at some point, surely everyone understands that. The key is to have a financial model that means that when we go down we can immediately compete to get back.
For me, the point of being in the premier league is to use the money to develop and build the club and create a legacy. If we get it right, in the future, we could see European football at Selhurst Park and that would really be something.

For now, I think it would be wise for the board to invest maybe 20 million in another midfielder, because without it I think there is a considerable relegation risk this season.

Personally, I’m more concerned with the ‘battle’ in this team as opposed to quality atm. I think enough quality is there despite obvious deficiencies in squad (players), a bit more fight and identifiable determination would reduce my panic certainly.
