We probably do have the best centre backs outside the top 6. However, we have one left back, possibly the worst central midfield options in the entire division and amongst the weakest forwards.

We have a few very good players. It's just the depth of the squad that is the problem.

When you look at our bench it is the worse it's been for several years. Schlupp should never be playing centre midfield but he has too as we only have 2 others (Doucoure and Hughes) who should be any where near a premier league squad. If we have 3-4 injuries there is no adequate cover. Even 3-4 years ago there were better back up options.

That's what fans are concerned about and the board's apparent reluctance to do anything about it.

Hmmm I wouldn't say that to someone like Darren Moore or our very own Andy Gray / Eric Young / Tony Finnegan to name but a few.
