What a load of nonsense being tossed about in this thread! One lady expresses a personal opinion and the right erupt with fury. I am sure it was a slightly tongue in cheek remark with an underlying serious point. It has become a habit to bring in cakes and sweets to celebrate all kinds of events. Pointing out the consequences of this so people pause for thought is hardly a disservice. They then decide for themselves, armed with another opinion. It’s not government policy. It’s not even recommended by the organisation she works for. It’s just one person’s own approach. Is she not allowed to express it?
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |
