Whilst I quite like him. He's not the answer for now. Pick him up on a free in the summer and sign a central midfielder.

I'm not sure he will be a freebie as i think Bristol City have option of extending his contract by another year.

Bournemouth have had £10 mill bid rejected. Good luck to them. Not a player we want.

I’l have to disagree on that one Lanzo. We need goals and his roughly 1 goal every 10 games is not what we need.

I respect your opinion, of course, but i just a hunch about him, i think he will be the new Wilf, Left of the midfield 3, in the now hopefully settled 4-2-3-1, all of our young wingers are left footed. Need a CF, Badly.

I'm not sure he is THE answer, but I wouldn't be completely against it.

Not 100% sure he'd be a starter, but even if not, we do need options.

I do think he offers something a bit different to our crop of attackers, he's not full of tricks and flair, but is really direct. Powerful runner, knows how to finish.

Actually, maybe it is what we need

I thought he had 6 months left on his contract? If so it would explain why we have not made a bid £10 million for a soon to be out of contract player way too much.

It is thought that Bristol City have a one-year contract extension option.

Ah thank you. Still not sure that £10m for that length of contact is worth it.

What we need is consistent forwards and all of you are overlooking the fact that Semenyo tends to perform only in spurts.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

I was in conversation with a gentleman at the game the other night and whilst he highlighted the strengths of Semenyo he did comment that the player is unpredictable, will show some brilliance but then frustrate. He also asserted that a couple of years ago, his decision making was his 'Achilles Heel'.
Overall, his comments were positive.

In terms of his goalscoring he has not been prolific. In the last 2 seasons he has scored 13 goals in 82 apps.
This season he has scored 8 goals in 31 apps.
