Wilf 31 this year pulled his hamstring while sprinting. Cant really see too many offers comming his way this summer

Newcastle look like they are signing Gordon from Everton so that will close another door. Hopefully Wilf will realise the best club for him is the one he is at.

We don't know his medical history so sure that most come into play however he has been playing with an injury which shows his commitment. He has already been offered a deal I would be happy for him to have another 3 years the club would have to decide if he was value for money.

Why are you talking about his contract situation when he has an injury that will keep him out for 3 weeks ? That player “ deteriorating before our eyes “ is still our biggest goal threat.

Having said that I will always be grateful for what Wilf has done for us - kept us up on more than one occasion and given us hours of enjoyment. He can still have his statue outside the ground.
