Hopefully we can get a surprise win against Brighton next weekend, as that would give us a real morale boost.

I've got a bad feeling about that game.

Bad feeling-based on what? Who expected anything from today? Unfortunate start but nearly got a result against a team with unlimited resources. As I said recently, if you want consistent Champions league performances, go and support one of the super-rich teams.

Been saying for a while that Eze is a waste of space. PV must suspect it too, but has to try and coax some sort of performance out of him, but it's just not happening. Seems to me that there's a reason why the likes of Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Fulham weren't interested. Ballon D'or? You're having a laugh. Get rid and hopefully recoup the fee.

Do not agree at all ..it's more then likely due to the injury he had and his fear of another if he gets involved too much so he's not committing himself enough, it's obviously quite psychological.

On the contrary holding our own against the top sides in the league ,Two draws and two one goal defeats should give the side confidence going into games of lesser standing .

Hughes was within a couple of feet of rashfords cross ,I thought those ones were deamed accidental ? Anyway not a bad effort ,we do what we do with what we have got and on another day it may have seen us nick a point . Always dissapointed with the loss but not disspondent

This would be fine if we win the games against teams of lesser standing, but we don’t, we invariably lose, so not sure about that at all.

Stick Shluppie up front as our no. 9. He’s got unbelievable balance, he’s fast and he’s got an eye for goal. We’ve got plenty of very good midfielders and our strikers aren’t cutting it. Plus he’s bloody hard which we all like.

Well, 3 months without as much as one PL-goal from open play (albeit a few from/in connections to set pieces)!!!

HOW ON EARTH should that change the next 3 months.

This team is just about as toothless as de Boers side, but this time no shift in manager seems to be on the cards.

We may very well be heading for League 1 a year from now.

The side that started today is Championship level. These new lads need to be really good.

Absolute lunacy not to get a forward who can run, head or has any presence or touch in the window.

Sure, that did pass my mind, but if he's not fully committed then he's not so much is he? How long do you think it will take him to psychological overcome the fear of another injury?

Pardon?
Wolves, Leeds, Villa, Southampton, West Ham & Bournemouth despatched so far. Just lost to Everton and Forest of the lesser teams in the League.
