Would love this to be correct, but we haven’t scored 3 goals in a Premier League game all season.
In fact we usually don’t usually even get three shots on target in a match and will be without our top scorer Zaha .
No harm in a bit of positivity I suppose though.

We have. We beat Villa 3-1.

My mistake in forgetting the Villa result.
The central point remains though that we don't create or score many and it's difficult to score three goals in a game if you don't have at least three shots on target which is often the case with us.
It will be fantastic if this changes on Saturday.

There is hope. Wilf is out and expected to return. Players challenging for his place have an opportunity to impress. PV has a number of choices. Wait until he is fully fit and start him. Rush him back too early, and risk losing him for a few extra weeks. Start him gently - on pitch at start (fully fit) and substitute after 25 minutes. Bring a fully fit Wilf on at 65 minutes and watch him go.

They have lived in our shadows since their existence but this year they do look a decent side to be fair to them and play better football than us. I certainly don’t think PV and the players fear this game, Patrick Viera would know Brighton as a small seaside town playing in the lower leagues in his career. Game on!

We are just sh1te going forward. Cannot see us scoring. We haven't been thrashed recently so a 0-0 is a possible.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

This game will tell us if the players PV has brought in have bought into the Palace or are just passing through . Do they get it or not?
The performance will mean more than the result for me , but if we perform 3-1 isnt an unrealistic result .

Its not often we face the weed as underdogs

More than ever COYP

And we still need a striker

In recent games the opposition made enough chances to put 3 or 4 past us, but they didn't and so I conclude that scoring is not as easy as some make out. Our problem is that we don't create enough chances even to miss let alone score, and with this in mind the day will come when we will get a tonking. One can only hope that it is not against Brighton, who were profligate in our recent encounters.
Unless we can start to create more opportunities and even start to trouble the opposition with shots from distance or set pieces then I can't see us winning many games.
Maybe the 2 new lads will slot right in and we'll have a fully functional midfield that moves forward and not side to side. Now there's a thought.
2-1 to Brighton.

I would take a draw right now.
I am not optimistic.

I hate to say this but with the way we leave players unmarked in our box will probably mean that we are in for a painful beating!

That you can get odds of 3 to 1 on us winning sums up where both teams are at the moment. I’d take a draw.

Hopefully with Lokonga coming in as a good DM we will be less porous in the box but whether his influence will be evident as soon as in the Brighton match I doubt
