Sky bet is not actually owned by sky it’s just the name , it’s owned by flutter entertainment who formerly owned paddy power , just like William hill is actually owned by 888 sport now and Coral/Ladbrokes owned by Entain, companies just keep the name to keep customers as a name change can be detrimental to the business.
Being in the industry myself , I can assure that it is HEAVILY regulated and they would 100% not be allowed to start rumours for purposes of taking bets on it

Yea I understand but honestly you don’t take any money on transfers or next managers anyway and to be honest if you came to anyone with a 50 quid bet you wouldn’t get on anyway on a market like that.

Yea I know we offer it but don’t want large stakes on it.Yea try get 100 quid on sumink wouldn’t stand a chance , they just want small stakes on markets like that. Same as tv specials like love island winner etc we offer the market but 50 max bet at the most if staff do there job correctly

Anybody else think this whole episode stinks? Should there not be a sanction already? Why no ban - suspension at least? It's not exactly frivolous charges. He seems to be getting off almost scot free, Brentford certainly are not suffering and it looks like a summer ban. That's like banning a student from school for the holidays.
