I didn't see a thread - if I have missed something then apologies!
The Quran gets damaged. Police are called. Press conference about it. Four boys suspended. Why?????
Utter madness and I wonder if a kid took the bible in and four Muslims damaged it, whether we would see the same scenario?

Yes, and death threats to the kid and a grovelling apology from the mother while the police sit there and nod agreement with some mullah saying the koran is worth more than life to him.

All this c**p is coming to a boiling point I think, people are coming to the end of their tethers and there could be some violence coming.

When your establishment has already decided to kneel it becomes the default.

As long as it isn't them the decision makers will throw anyone under the bus.

“Some problems are unavoidable. Some evils can be coped with to a certain extent, but not prevented. But that a nation should have saddled itself, without necessity and without countervailing benefit, with a wholly avoidable problem of immense dimensions is enough to make one weep. That the same nation should stubbornly persist in allowing the problem, great as it already is, to be magnified further, is enough to drive one to despair.”
[Enoch Powell, speech at Walsall, 9 Feb 1968]

Yep, Powell was of the establishment and an elite. He correctly saw that the only chance of the country turning away from the disastrous choices that were taken was to convince the elites to change tack.

He failed, and they got rid of him even though he had overwhelming popular public support. Just another evidence that real power doesn't reside with what the public actually want and that real choices are severely restricted and filtered and heavily shaped by media.....for something so curated to be called democracy, in my view, is to give it more respectability that it really deserves.

Powell failed, though he wasn't to blame and was the only one with the balls to make a stand. He recognised that he failed and in his failing our country was lost.....as he predicted it would be.

In the future our disenfranchised will recognise the traitors of history and they will be identified and treated how they deserve.

Don't believe the hype.

Society is always three days without meals away from barbarism.

The role of the police is this is very questionable.

They have de facto invented a blasphemy offence that can be mitigated by a mea culpa at a mosque.

Sharia law by default, outrageous

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

The police are tasked with 'keeping the peace' so that politicians can continue to flood our country with incompatible migrants.

What that amounts to is subjugation.

I grow weary of people having to kowtow to the believers of a brutal hateful religion, lest we offend them. I'm an atheist. I'm tolerant of theists and tend to keep my beliefs to myself. I will not have others beliefs imposed on me.

This makes me so angry I shall leave it there.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Our system has been bought by Petro-Dollars. Which come from Muslim countries run by monarchies who wish to export all their lunatics.

And has been an official policy since 1945. The Qunicy Agreement. Essentially the US guarantees the safety of the Middle Eastern Royal Families in return for the oil to flow. With part of that also being that those Royal Families essentially export their religious lunatics.

Almost any and every major geo-political event since then, with a few notable exceptions, dates back to this. Even this current s*** show in Ukraine is, in my opinion, a deliberate policy decision to force Europe into fuel dependency on those self-same Middle Eastern Royal Families rather than buy gas from Russia.

There is also going to be, in the next decade or so, a massive movement growing to effect transfer of millions of Palastinians from Gaza/The West Bank into Europe and you need Islam as a political force in Europe to pave the way for that.

The first part of this is just plain fact. The second...a little more speculative but if you accept it as an end-game then events since perhaps 2008 onwards start to make sense.
