London's primary school kids to get one free meal a day for a year.

Good policies obviously not for tory wind-bags.

Without means testing seems to be a waste of money. Many parents can afford it so why give it away for free. More flimflam for clicks.

Hounslow council supports the expanse of ULEZ just as long as it's 400 non complaint vehicles are given an exemption.

[Link]

The article doesn't say if Khan has agreed to the exemption I hope he doesn't. If there is one group that should not be allowed an exemption it should be the politicians who think this is a good idea.

A related item it appears that if you charge your EV using a pavement meter you will be charged 20% VAT whilst if you charge it at home it is only 5%.

How stupid is that.

The people of Hounslow may be of a similar ilk to Khan, but none are going to take kindly to paying anything extra. When I used to live there, I had a car but only used it for long journeys. I was five minutes from the tube and regular buses - to and from Heathrow etc. I can't imagine many Smiths or Joneses on Hounslow council.

The interesting one about Hounslow is will it mean Heathrow comes into it? That would be patently ridiculous. Charging car drivers whilst jumbos dump their fuel before landing.

I think this is wonderful
The old saying what is good for the goose is good for the gander
If Hounslow are allowed to do this , every car driver in London should be able to do so .
In which case I and many would be happy as it means everything stay's as it is .
