Reported in the Times today that Chelsea will be forced to sell some players by 30 June to comply with FPP rules. They have recruited loads of signings but the paper mentions Mount and Gallagher. Could we afford Gallagher and, if we could, would he prefer to come back to Palace? I suspect some big clubs would also be in the hunt. By the by, it is worrying the talk about Guehi and Olise being targets in the summer.

A number of sites are suggesting Mount will go but I suspect Chelsea will keep Gallagher unless Potter is given the heave-ho. I think Potter rates him and Conor isn't on mega wages. There are plenty of others Chelsea will offload before Conor IMHO> We really do have to move on from Gallagher. The club's apparent focus on trying to get him in the last two windows has left us in a precarious position, having seemingly put all our eggs in the Gallagher basket (or so it seems to me).

If we go for anyone from Chelsea ( which I don't think we will do ) I would go for Loftus-Cheek

Yeah...I'm not sure how attractive a proposition we are at the moment. A strong finish to the season and an impressive manager appointment will be needed to have any chance in convincing Connor or RLC
