Is Jack Clarke at Sunderland that much better than Rak-Sakyi to justify the fee? Would like to see him and Killian Phillips in. I know Roy will not do it, but would love to see them both in the match day squad once we are safe, to see how they could do next season.

How do you know that?
Let's face it, the vast majority of fans on this site expected a return to the Royball of Hodgson's last 2 years when he came back rather than the more progressive style of his early tenure once he'd got us out of the nightmare start under De Boer.

Roy was quick to start both Olise and Eze and bring Ayew in to the left when Wilf got injured rather than play him in front of Ward and sacrifice Olise.

I suggest that Roy's apparent reluctance to use the Academy players first time round was down to the fact our Academy was pretty poor. Most of the U18/23 players from that era have been moved on. The new batch attracted to the upgraded facility are of a higher standard.

Of course, we may never find out what Hodgson would have done NEXT year.

Get him in the first team next season especially if Zaha leaves imo

Charlton’s last game is 3 weeks before the end of the prem season, could Rak-Saki return to Palace and play in any of the last 3 games.

Rak-Sakyi is the closest I would imagine to getting 1st team game time.

Killian Phillips as well as he has done at Shrewsbury, I would not think he ready for any 1st team action.
Malcolm Ebiowei has only just got into the Hull starting 11 after weeks on the bench. Yet to score for them.
Luke Plange has been disappointing with appearances from bench predominately for Lincoln. Yet to score as well I think.
John Kymani Gordon started well at Carlisle but then dropped to the bench and now doesn't feature (unless injured).

Any in the u21 and u18 teams would be even further away I would imagine, despite how well they have done.

I am surprised that Kofi Balmer did not go out on loan to get league experience.

Agreed. Unfortunately for Rak-Sakyi, though, I believe he plays in the same position as Olise, so his opportunities are likely to be limited unless Olise is sold.

Rak-Sakyi is getting better an better every week.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him loaned to a champs club for the first half of next season. If he's flying, recall at Xmas.

My personal feeling is that we'll start seeing Ademorola pretty soon, as understudy for Mitchell. I don't think he's on loan. Could possibly save us having to buy a left back.

Adaramola is great going forward but I'm not sure whether his defensive qualities are up to Premier League scrutiny yet. Of course, he will need to be tested again at some point.

One of the concerns about Rak-Sakyi was whether he was physically strong enough for senior football, but I assume he must have beefed up a bit to have survived a full season in League One up against some hairy monsters in the opposition defences, and with such a good record!

Crystal Palace defender Tayo Adaramola has been recognised for his fine performances this season with a nomination for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.

We will know next week.

Didn't want to be shipped out to Coventry, since serving his period in the naughty chair he has come on a bunch, 90 mins + 7 he is still bombing up and down the left.

Makes me feel giddy just watching it.

I've seen him play as a striker for the under 21's? Whether he's a striker or a RBW he's a really exciting player
