Taxpayer funding his short daily commute by chauffeur driven car.

Most people pay their own commuting cost

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I doubt most in these positions do, nor as we know politicians once that's the chosen path. Not that it makes it any better. It just reveals how detached from ordinary lives thoe in sone lines of work can become. Unless expenses can be justified in an accountable way within a given role of course.

The usual desperation, no crime here. Not the major scale lying and criminal activity of Boris or the print money and give it away of Truss or the no U.K. tax of Sunak's wife. You
are looking at the wrong party for sleaze, the Tories ooze sleaze from every pore of their beings. Taxi for HKOwen on expenses.

His successor spent a third as much on a like for like basis.

The main cost was his daily commute not official trips

Good to see beak approves of this good socialist behaviour

The point is his hypocrisy in singing the value for money song.

If you are hanging your criminal tag on cakegate then that's desperate to pathetic. I am no fan of Johnson's tenure as PM.

Sadiq Khan likes to champion the cause of us all walking to work.

Meanwhile, he travels around himself in a cross between the Carriage of the Lord Mayor's Parade and a Bat-mobile.

Lefties are mostly hypocrites.

They have more in common in terms of outlook and conduct as politicians, than difference in terms of being left or right.

People do love the term hypocrite, but if those politicians saying that are failing to adhere to the standards they're accusing others of not following (on account that they made less committment to) is how it's framed or named really the only thing of importance.. They all virtually interchangable people who we paint are being enttirely different based on our own politics. Placeholders for the next one on the take.

No greater hypocrisy than Tory attack dogs complaining about Starmer being as dirty as themselves. I have many friends who worry themselves senseless about the Tories losing the next election, if indeed that happens. I only say, what on earth have they done well which makes them deserve re-election? Is it simply fear of the other side? If so, we are royally screwed imo. The country is not in a better condition than it was 13 years ago, in many respects I would boldly suggest, worse. The pothole at the bottom of my road was repaired by ESCC the other day, I suppose !

One does not make the other right.

Labour has no need to resort to dirty tricks as you point out the Tory's record is poor on competency and sleaze, focus on that.

It is not necessary to invent stuff "if you lie down with dogs you get fleas". Voters will start to suspect that Labour are no better than the Tories and not to be trusted the very thing which is Labour's main weapon they are now fumbling.

Really disappointed that Starmer has refused to distance himself and the party from those ads.

Starmer calls Sunak out on the sexual offences issue and few doing jail time when it was he who sat on the sentencing committee that decided just that.
Look it up if you don't believe me

It's something Starmer chooses not to mention surprisingly

If Starmer ever gets to be PM I wouldn't trust him to not push for the UK to have much closer ties with the eu.

He declared in July last year that he would not reverse Brexit nor soften the current agreement with the eu.

Yet, in Corbyn's Shadow Government he was a complete and utter foam-in-the-mouth remainer, demanding second referendums and pushing hard for the original referendum to be ignored.

Leopards and spots come to mind...
