My own take on it is that the primary aim of any Starmer led Government will be around reversing Brexit with any and everything else secondary. And this lady will play a crucial part in that happening.

But I also concede I can be a paranoid lunatic, seeing Rejoiners around each and every corner so that must be taken into account.

However, Starmer is a 100% bought and paid for Washington/Deep State stooge. So no matter what, I suspect there will be nothing major in terms of wider UK-specific structural politics changing.
This is not a C.O.S that will be leading the charge for any kind of 'Reddening' of UK PLC.

Maybe a bit more froth, a few more bows on various political packages and a Left who will just happily ignore all kinds of things if it comes with a Labour branding because all they define themselves as, in the majority, is being anti-Tory rather than anything else.

It is blindingly obvious that reversing Brexit is against the interests of Washington.

How on earth do you reach that conclusion? Washington wants the UK very much in the EU for all sort of reasons, not least the fact that the UK was a major thorn in its side when it came to trying to become stronger.

We have a major European war fought on the basis of Washington fearing how strong both Germany and Russia might become if they were allowed to buy and sell gas from each other.

And a strong Germany means a strong EU.

Washington threw the kitchen sink at keeping us in the EU. Or have you forgotten Obama's intervention? Went against all accepted diplomatic protocol.

Brexit helped Trump. Undoubtably. But he is not Washington. And Capitol Hill very much wants the UK back in Brussels, throwing all kinds of spanners into the works.
