Who is targeting the overweight? I am concerned with the unvaccinated. Others have introduced smoking etc and tried to equate things.

Being overweight is anyway far from being obese. It just means you are above the recommended weight for your height and age.

That you for your concern but we are quite alright. Most of us are very healthy individuals who are very careful what we put in to our bodies.

But your views are totalitarian its not a slur. anyways thank you for proving my point....yet again.

You obviously still haven't got that new dictionary I recommended you needed. The Cambridge Dictionary defines totalitarianism as:-

"a political system in which those in power have complete control and do not allow anyone to oppose them"

I have no belief in such a system. You are talking bs. Which is regrettably not unusual.

I am talking about our NI system becoming more like a real insurance-based one, in which higher risk sees higher premiums. That's a truly capitalistic approach.

There's not one turn of any wind-up involved. The Dr Watson video skewers Brand. Claiming you haven't watched it and that you don't lie, could both be lies. The prevarication though speaks volumes as the reasoning is as shallow as a dried-up puddle.

So unless and until you do you are going to have to take my word for it. Which you will never do. You will go on arguing from ignorance.

I have no idea whose politics you think I approve of, let alone whether they were influenced by Cohn. Cohn is best known for his time with McCarthy and as Trump's mentor. That he had other clients is doubtless true, but what I talking about is the similarity between the tactics he taught Trump and those you also use. I doubt though if you are even aware of it.

A 'dried up puddle' isn't a puddle old bean.

I've been on Hol since 2009, I think most objective people have a handle on whether I'm a liar or not as with you. If you want to believe I'm lying go ahead. It'll be just another delusion you advocate for.

From what I've read Cohn was a pretty nasty piece of work.....he was also a registered Democrat....the party that Trump funded in the nineties when he knew Trump.

It seems...And I've only just read about this guy, so I'm going on that.....that Cohn was very much interested in particular interests, which meant that he'd work with whoever shared them....Which could definitely include those on the right....more so at that particular time.

This is exactly your views totalitarianism. Dress it up and deny it all you want. But at the end of the day it's exactly what your views are.

As you well know my concern is primarily about the impact your behaviour has on others and not on yourself. You persistently seem to think that just because society has shown tolerance towards those who have refused, whilst capable, that is, I believe, primarily due to the difficulties involved in enforcing a mandate and the probability of them gathering sympathy which might rebound on the attitude of others. My own view is that a mandate with very light enforcement, relying on persuasion and social pressure rather than a heavy hand, could result in a better outcome.

Certainly a large part of it. They need to be reassured and educated just as our friend here who believes the vaccines have the potential to do more harm than good.

However, their concerns are more genuine than his. They worry that people from some ethnic groups have been used experimentally in the past, with, I believe some justification. So the approach needs to be different.

A dried puddle leaves muck behind but without depth. Just as Brand's videos do.

I probably pre-date you on Hol. I was originally subscribed to the email forerunner. Whether you are lying or not is pretty immaterial to you refusing to deal with the debunking.

What on earth are you so afraid of? That you might have to admit you are wrong about one of your heroes. Or that you will have to invent another convoluted excuse?

Cohn was a thoroughly nasty piece of work, but it's his role in shaping the Trump persona that interests me most, as it has the most direct impact of today's politics.

Don't be so silly. That's the kind of system that exists in North Korea, not here where we can change our government every 5 years and are protected from dictatorship by a constitutional monarchy.

I believe in our system. I certainly want to see it modified with more power to the MPs and the introduction of PR, but only with the retention of the basic structure.

You really do post some tosh sometimes, and generally embarrass yourself by just doubling down on it.

I blame Thatcher. She unleashed "Care in the Community" for which were are now reaping the (ahem),...rewards.

I like Brand, as I like all honest genuine people...Brand is also intelligent, funny and a very good writer, which obviously adds strings to his bow ..however, calling him my hero when he's beliefs are a lot further left than mine.....well that's somewhat of a stretch. His ideals can be summed up as a mix of 'live and let live' and John Lennon's 'Imagine'.

When that position is genuinely held I can't ever take against that person however I know it's the road to hell....having lived on estates and knowing the world as it exists in all its violent glory I regard those as indulgent fantasy beliefs that lead to the very opposite of what they intend. They are the kind of ideas that those who hide themselves away in nice filtered areas believe in. Those who think that laws will always protect them regardless of who it is interpreting them or why they get made.

However, I fully agree with Brand on important aspects. For example, his idea that the working and middle classes, both left and right are being stuffed by the globalist wealth class and should work together where their interests align.

His knowledge, which is the same as mine, that different political ideologies and peoples have to negotiate a way of peacefully co-existing on this planet without a permanent stance of confrontation and threats to each other.

His stand against corporations and media that have become politically aligned and owned by those same elites.

His stand for the truth in regards to both Covid and the Ukraine war instead of propaganda and lies.

So there is a lot I agree with there....I'm not someone who refuses to listen to people just because I don't align with them.
People need to be able to communicate....Some can do that and unfortunately some can't.
