Garth Crooks' comment the previous week when Ebs was again in his Team of the Week, was just as bad. I can't remember exactly what he wrote, but the majority of his article was not focussed on Ebs. He bafflingly remarked about Ayew taking his shirt off after scoring his goal, which was part of the reason he said he was concerned about Palace. Someone needs to have a word in his ear and explain to him to comment just on the player and why he nominated him, and not to bumble on about stuff that happened elsewhere in the game. If he has a problem with a player/club/VAR, he should burble on about it in his Crooks of the Matter waffle at the end of the article. Edited by nhp61 (16 May 2023 5.00pm)

Did he praise us for employing a black manager in the first place?

In today's Times, Martin Samuel claims that '' Roy's had an easy ride '' - Vieira harsh sacking etc etc. That seems to be the Media stance on the subject.
