Crystal Palace star Odsonne Edouard has been fined £1,000 for driving his Audi through London without a licence or insurance, a court has heard.

The French striker, 25, was stopped by officers who seized his Audi RS Q8 during an incident near the Blackwall Tunnel in August.

Court documents show his vehicle was already 'known for speeding offences' when an officer saw him driving, the Evening Standard reports.

Bromley magistrates court heard that the Premier League player - who agreed a five-year deal worth £70,000 per week with Palace back in 2021 - struggled to understand he was being given a caution due to his 'limited English'.
