In 2022, the United Nations ranked Cuba 41st on an index of development, democracy, and equality.

The US was ranked 42nd and is now regarded as a "developing country."

And the left are in control !!!

Can you just run through how Cuba can rank on any measure of democracy?

Do you think state owned utilities = communism?

The article was in the Morning Star, the mouthpiece of the Communist Party of Britain. Nationalising utilities would be the first stage on their agenda of bringing under state control all means of production and distribution.

Greens doing well and would be a good choice in my view.

As an intro the party's ideology combines environmentalism with left-wing economic policies, including well-funded and locally controlled public services. It advocates a steady-state economy with the regulation of capitalism, and supports proportional representation.

You may even be able to go for a swim.

When they took control of Brighton Council, the Pride parade got twice as big but the bins never got emptied

There is no such thing as the Communist Party of Britain, anymore, it expired in 1991.

It is alive and kicking, like yourself no doubt, still waiting for the glorious revolution.

I don't think so. They are utterly bonkers.

Many know we need a third party with the backing to challenge in a meaningful way. The system makes that as hard as possible to accomplish for obvious reasons.

The Tories have been very unlucky with COVID, and the fallout from the war, but their inability to remain united for the greater good is shocking.
They have gone from unassailable under Boris to likely losers, and they only have themselves to blame.

The opposition is a joke.

And come 2024 regret will show after about 18 months when the voters realise it’s their money paying for the ‘new world’; but by then rules will be in place disabling any chance of a change.

That is certainly a possibility.
