Not sure if many have seen this or it's been flagged already (apologies if it has.) But it's a really good interview with Gary Neville. May have changed my view on the Americans a bit.

Good insight into the costs of certain things and maybe tid bits people don't know about.

Link provided but not sure if I've done it correctly... if not then easy to find on YouTube- Inside Crystal Palace | Steve Parish & Roy Hodgson on what it takes to run a Premier League Club.

Very good watch. Nice to hear from Parish and him explaining how much the new training ground cost to build which many people probably do not realize it looks really high end. Parish was at least being realistic saying the aim is to make Palace an established top 10 side in the EPL which is something that is achievable. Roy also mentioning the club looking to improve certain positions hopefully we see some new additions that can help Palace get in the top 10 next season (RB, striker and possibly another winger if Wilf leaves)

That for posting CPFCTrust1.

I had not previously seen this and working my way through it this morning. That is a joke of course as I have work and I would never let my mind drift on a Friday when there are things I should almost certainly be doing in my professional context...

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Really interesting video well worth watching.

Parish's comments about PV were interesting, a lot of praise but I detected that he felt man management was PV's weakness which is why he had to go.

An excellent insight into our club through the eyes of both the chairman and manager. For me, Neville brought out some very relevant details about the running and football side of CPFC from the two interviews.

Well worth investing the 50 mins or so and helps to understand why we all passionately support the Palace.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

what a great deep dive, really nice to hear Parish being open about certain things especially PV, but also being respectful of him at the same time. Hard to argue with his decision making

Fantastic episode

Really worth a watch.

Main takeouts for me,

1) Parish said that the intention had been to leave Vieira in place until the end of the season and 'make changes ' then.
Whether the changes involved Vieira or only the coaching staff is not clear, but this would confirm that there was some disaffection at how things were working.

2) Parish claimed that everything was rosy with Harris and Blitzer and they were very happy with their involvement in the club.
As this seemed a somewhat superficial statement, Neville probed further i.e what were they in it for.
I felt this was not satisfactorily answered.

Great watch, I really enjoyed it. The only boss I had to convince was my good lady wife, who knows when to leave well alone!
