whilst looking at another thread, that mentioned Tony Pullis, i started thinking of the song we sung to him when we played WBA
about coming for his house!!!

amused by memory's of that song, i remembered the song we sung at Watford when it was foggy...

"where the f*** is Speroni"

any other similar chants come to mind?

Remember being at Anfield a log time ago, think it was on the anniversary of Hillsborough.

Palace fans joined in with `You'll ever Walk Alone` after the minutes silence. To their credit the Liverpool fans turned ad applauded the Palace fans for it.

Was a genuily touching moment to see two sets of supporters have respect for each other like that. It made for a really fun atmosphere between the two sets of supporters.

They laughingly sang `9-0, we beat you 9-0` Palace fans responded with `9-0, you only beat us 9-0` Both sets of fans laughing their heads off!

"No Scouse at Wembley!" was a slightly less respectful chant at Villa Park 1990. I stood there thinking "you are going to regret that later, lads", but what did I know?!

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

I recall back in the 60s/70s, our supporters taunting the opposition supporters with "Back to school on Monday".
Furthermore, there was that chant which ended with "Peanuts for sixpence".

Some of my fave palace gallows humour classics are:

To Jimmy Floyd Hasslebank playing for Charlton “you’re just a fat Eddie Murphy”

To that weird Pompey bell ringing hobit guy who started climbing up the Arthur gantry “ what the fkin he’ll is that? Penny for the guy, penny for the guy”…..

When Crouch came down playing for Southampton “ Freak” everytime he touched the ball was quite funny as was clearly getting to him too.

The classic “did you come by minibus” is always an old fave to a poor travelling support with empty seats.

However the two best I’ve ever heard were actually from Celtic singing to Andy Goram (RIP) who had been diagnosed with bi-polar “ two Andy Gorams, there’s only two Andy Gorams”. The other I hate to say was from Brighton responding to “ does your boyfriend know you’re here” with “you’re too ugly to be gay” back at the palace. Quite genius to be fair!

Peter Shilton, when playing for forest was caught playing away (in a parked car) & it made the papers, the next game happened to be at Selhurst Park, several in the Holmesdale end were yelling
"Does your missus know your here"
