Yes. That will be the Coudenof-kalergi plan.

Never gone with that one.

I regard it as much more multifactorial.

Attitudes have softened as the percentages go up.

That was published in Jan 2020, so the data has to be from 2019 or earlier. The link I provided is recent and based on 2020 data and says how rapidly attitudes are changing.

You can sling slurs at the source and make snide remarks about the ethnicity of the sample but you cannot dismiss the trends revealed. Things are changing. Maybe you cannot sense it when immersed in this little bubble but out in the real world you can, if you have the eyes to see and the ears to hear. I suspect you though just tune that out and pretend it isn’t happening!

Hey, if people are happy with immigration and what it brings I've no problem with that....though I note that many of its advocates don't live their principles on the matter. Still, I do and It doesn't change where my personal choices are or will be.

Personally I think the demographic map of where people move to provides the actual truth.

Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss and now Sunak.

All have one thing in common.

They are utter b****x, and have ruined the UK.

They basically completed the job 80% done by Blair and Brown, the state we are in is not owned by one party or government.

All a bit depressing

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Yep, the Blair years were the cement and this lot are the concrete.

I am all for a bit of leftie/labour bashing but come on? How long have we had an (allegedly) Conservative Government?

People need to stop wasting time on this ludicrous Labour/Conservative issue when it comes to migration. This is being done deliberately, by forces pullings the strings of both parties, by way of not only diluting the UK's white population but also that of Europe.

People need to start facing up to the 'whys' of that. Multiculturalism is being forcibly imposed on an entire continent and with a wider white population quite happy to play along in exchange for secular hedonism that is going to come back and bite them on their arses (or more likely their grandchildrens arses but who cares right? Live for today is the motto).

For me. Bang on the money ^^^
Politics is the divisive distraction to what is being imposed.

They weren’t better times! They were different times. Ours were times when xenophobia was considered normal. Some of us learned better. Some didn’t.

Our kids grew up in more enlightened times but had other problems to face. They weren’t better or worse. Just different. That’s their times.

Our grandkids won’t know your times, only their parent’s and their own, which will seem completely normal to them.

I feel sorry for your grandkids too. They have a grandad telling them how great it used to be and how their attitudes are all wrong. Nothing new there!

The numbers have been distorted by Covid and students.

There was a massive drop of incoming (immigration) during covid but those leaving (emigration) increased. i.e. Possibly people going back to their country of origin during covid. Students, which makes up the biggest portion, also stopped coming over.

If you look at the graphs this can be confirmed.

I would be interested to see numbers based on who was leaving the UK during that period. Was it UK residents leaving or those who previously immigrated here. I suspect it was mostly the latter.

I've never understood why Students are included in these numbers. Foreign students need a visa and once their course has finished need to leave (after a short period depending on the length of the course) or re-apply to stay and work here.

The above is also stated in the analysis shown below.

I wonder why...

Not difficult to work out is it?

One is seen as a temporary blip that is expected to be handled by people who have sufficient financial experience to make appropriate decisions.

The other wasn't.

If true, so what? Most brains work wherever you live. There are exceptions though.

In fact, things are changing rapidly locally, especially in Truro where there is a noticeable inflow of Asian and African immigrants since Brexit.
