EFL Cup

Crystal Palace will be up against Southampton away in the third round of the EFL Cup.

The all Premier League tie is Palace's reward for beating Blackpool 2-0 on Tuesday night, while Saints got a bye. The tie will be played week commencing September 19, 2016.

Palace have played Southampton in cup competitions in three of the last four campaigns – and won each time – with the most recent being last season's FA Cup success.
