Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish is to join the BBC's entrepreneurial show Dragons' Den.

Parish and former banker Jenny Campbell will be the new additions to the hit TV programme which sees entrepreneurs vie for the financial investment and support from the 'dragons'.

Dragons Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden and Touker Suleyman will remain in the den but Nick Jenkins and Sarah Willingham are departing for series 15.

"I'm thrilled to become a dragon and really excited to meet the entrepreneurs in this series, see what ideas they bring to the den and how I might be able to help them grow," said Parish.

Parish earned his fortune in business by turning Tag Worldwide from a small London-based firm with 50 staff, and a turnover of under £4m, into a leading advertising production company.

Tag boasted a client base of some of the world’s biggest brands, had 3,000 employees, 13 offices around the world, and revenues in excess of £180m. Steve sold the business in 2011 for around £150m.

Former Eagles chairman Simon Jordan appeared on similar show, ITV's Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway, in 2007, and says he turned down appearing on Dragons' Den before its first series.
