Roy Hodgson
"I'd like to say if the penalty Man City got at Middlesbrough was a penalty I'd like Mike Riley to ring me up and say why we didn't get a penalty on Wilf Zaha last week. That got City a 2-2 draw. It's not just how your team play, it's what the officials do. We had a big problem last week with the whole treatment on Wilf and an offside given when Wilf was a yard onside.
"So with those two instances alone we wouldn't have lost the game but because they wrongfully went against us we lost. We can only be in control of what we are in control of but if the referee makes a poor decision you could lose very valuable points. Every referee no doubt tries his best but sometimes these errors occur because of the pressure they are under."
Pep Guardiola
"I know how tough Crystal Palace are. They beat Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. We have Leicester, the last champions, then we have West Brom and Tony Pulis, who are always complicated.
"But it is in our hands. We will see if we are able to make our step forward to qualify. If we win all four games we will definitely be in the Champions League and maybe in the third position. It depends on us.
"Sam Allardyce is a top, top coach. He is able to get teams who are in a bad situation, and they are simple and clear about what they do. What they do, they do perfect. When he took over, they were in a bad situation and they were able to make a big result."
