Jordon Mutch celebrates his goal

Crystal Palace midfielder JORDON MUTCH scored a goal of the season contender for his on-loan side Vancouver Whitecaps.

MUTCH, who is on loan with the Canadian outfit for the campaign, leapt off the bench to net a 30-yard equaliser at Los Angeles FC and rescue a point in a 2-2 draw.

The 26-year-old said after the game: "I just seen space going forward, it opened up for me so I just kept on creeping forward and I had enough time to make good contact with the ball.

"I know when I make good contact with the ball, I can hit a shot clean and this afternoon it worked for me and obviously delighted it went in."
