Crystal Palace claimed an important 3-1 at relegation rivals Burnley.

The victory moves Roy Hodgson's side eight points above the bottom three and another step closer to safety.

Palace took the lead in the 15th minute against the run of play when Jeffrey Schlupp's cut-back from Wilfried Zaha's cross smacked against Phil Bardsley's into his own net.

Three minutes after the break, Michy Batshuayi netted his second goal since joining on loan from Chelsea with a powerful strike from Aaron Wan-Bissaka's pass.

Wilfried Zaha made sure of the points by twinkling his way into the Burnley box and fired low past keeper Tom Heaton on 76 minutes.

Ashley Barnes pulled a goal back with a header in the 90th minute but the Eagles ran out victorious.
